Matuê, Filipe Ret, Veigh, Cabelinho and MC Hariel Lead Rap In Cena 2026 Lineup

One of Brazil’s biggest hip-hop festivals is officially preparing for its next chapter.

Rap In Cena Festival has revealed the lineup for its 12th edition, bringing together some of the biggest names in Brazilian rap, trap and funk for two days in Porto Alegre. The festival will take place on December 12 and 13, 2026, at Parque Harmonia, with this year’s edition carrying the theme “O Legado” — “The Legacy.” citeturn908237search0turn908237search1

The newly announced lineup immediately makes Rap In Cena one of the most important Brazilian hip-hop events still to come in 2026.

Among the biggest names confirmed are Matuê, Filipe Ret, Veigh with Supernova, MC Hariel, Cabelinho, TZ da Coronel, Nanda Tsunami, MC Luanna, WIU, Teto and Brandão. The festival will also host the FKAY Tour, bringing together Kayblack and Vulgo FK, with a special appearance from MC Caverinha. citeturn908237search0

The range of artists reflects the current shape of Brazil’s urban music scene.

Matuê remains one of the country’s most influential trap figures, while Veigh and the Supernova collective represent a younger generation that has helped push Brazilian trap deeper into the mainstream. WIU, Teto and Brandão add even more strength to that side of the lineup.

At the same time, Rap In Cena is making room for artists who have built long-lasting careers in Brazilian rap.

Filipe Ret is scheduled to bring his “NUME” show to Porto Alegre. The project has become another major chapter in Ret’s career, further establishing him as one of the most recognizable rappers of his generation. citeturn908237search0

The festival will also feature a major collaboration between Cabelinho and TZ da Coronel.

Their set is expected to include material from their collaborative project Palácio de Lona alongside popular tracks from their individual catalogs. That gives Rap In Cena one of its strongest collaborative performances, connecting two artists who have become central figures in Rio de Janeiro’s modern rap and trap movement. citeturn908237search0

Another major attraction is the FKAY Tour.

The joint run from Kayblack and Vulgo FK has already brought together two artists with strong audiences in contemporary Brazilian urban music. At Rap In Cena, they will be joined by MC Caverinha, giving the performance another connection to the younger generation of Brazil’s rap and funk ecosystem. citeturn908237search0

But Rap In Cena has never been designed as only a concert festival.

The event continues to position hip-hop culture as something larger than music alone. Organizers have confirmed activities including MC battles, breaking, artistic interventions, sports spaces and areas focused on entrepreneurship. citeturn908237search0

That broader approach is particularly important to the theme of the 2026 edition.

By naming the festival “O Legado,” Rap In Cena is highlighting the history and cultural foundations that helped Brazilian hip-hop reach its current level of visibility.

The official festival site describes Rap In Cena as a project that has spent the past 12 years strengthening hip-hop’s pillars, connecting different generations and turning culture into a wider movement. citeturn908237search1

That history has become increasingly significant.

Rap In Cena has been held at Parque Harmonia since 2022. The 2025 edition featured artists including Djonga, Orochi, BK, Cabelinho, Poze do Rodo, Duquesa and Tasha & Tracie. citeturn908237search2

The festival’s tenth-anniversary edition in 2024 was even larger, bringing more than 70 attractions across three stages. International acts Ja Rule and Rich the Kid appeared alongside Brazilian stars including Mano Brown, Filipe Ret, L7nnon and Veigh. Organizers reported that around 48,000 people attended over the two days. citeturn908237search2

Those previous editions show how Rap In Cena has evolved from a regional hip-hop gathering into a major destination for Brazilian urban music.

The 2026 lineup continues that evolution.

Rap In Cena now sits at the intersection of several generations and styles. Established rappers appear alongside current trap stars, emerging artists and funk voices, while the festival’s cultural programming keeps battles, dance and entrepreneurship connected to the music onstage.

For fans of Brazilian hip-hop, that combination makes the December edition one of the biggest events left on the calendar.

With Matuê, Filipe Ret, Veigh, Cabelinho, MC Hariel, WIU, Teto, Brandão, Kayblack, Vulgo FK and more all heading to Porto Alegre, Rap In Cena 2026 is shaping up to be much more than another festival weekend.

It is being presented as a celebration of where Brazilian hip-hop has come from, where the culture stands now and the artists who may define what comes next.
